Clerk of the Board

The Board of Allen County Commissioners appointed Kelli Singhaus as Clerk of the Board in April, 2003. Prior to that time, she was employed within the Commissioner’s Office as an Account Clerk in December, 1988 and was appointed as Clerk of the Board in December, 1992. She left employment with Allen County in 1999 to stay home with her children. She is a graduate of Bath High School and attended Lima Technical College. She is married and has three daughters.

The statutory duties of the Board Clerk as required under Ohio Revised Code Sections 305.10 and 305.11, include keeping full and accurate records of the proceedings of the Board and a general index of these proceedings. The Clerk records any legal action decisions of the Board and the votes by which the decision is reached.

Ms. Singhaus currently serves on County Commissioners’ Clerks and Engineers’ Secretaries Association of Ohio, Records Commission and Risk Management Committee.
